Día de Los Muertos is a two-day celebration rooted in Mexican tradition, observed on November 1st and 2nd, where families gather to honor their departed loved ones. It’s not about mourning — it’s about remembering with joy, color, and deep respect.
Families build ofrendas (altars) decorated with photos, candles, papel picado, food, marigolds, and calaveras (sugar skulls) — iconic, colorful skulls that symbolize life and death in perfect harmony. Music, food, dance, and storytelling fill the air, as generations connect through shared legacy.
